The microbiological filtration SuperSterasyl ceramic candle can be cleaned repeatedly in the field and over a period of time it will filter more water for less money.

Use only water for cleaning the ceramic candles. You can clean them using a scourer or a very smooth brush. Do Not Use Soap, detergents, sugar, salt or any chemical products. This will damage the ceramic candle.

The micro-porous ceramic membrane is capable of filtering micro organisms, dirt, rust, algae and other suspended solids.

Use only Glacier Ceramic Filter Candles, replacing them every 12 months.
