Replaceable Cartridge Purifier System

1. Unpack Contents:

   Glacier counter-top unit with swivel tap

   Diverter valve assembly with plastic tubing separate to unit.

2. Place unit on counter and uncoil the tubing.
3. Remove existing aerator from kitchen faucet.
4. Most faucets have threads on the OUTSIDE. If yours does, simply attach the diverter valve, and tighten onto the faucet.
5. After diverter is attached to the faucet, open faucet and make sure there are no leaks. Remove any crimps in the tubing attached to the diverter valve and the unit. It is important that the counter top remains stationary. It must not be tipped over.
   NOTE-- When installing your system, a common pair of pliers is all that is needed. Should your sink faucet be an odd size, then you will need a universal adaptor kit, which is available at your local hardware store.
6. Turn on the Cold water; Push the diverter pin to one side on the diverter valve to activate the water flow through the unit. It will take a few seconds for the water to flow through the cartridge and out the swivel tap attached to the counter-top unit.
7. Run water for approximately 3 to 5 minutes to activate your cartridge and allow accumulated carbon fines to be flushed. When the water becomes clear, you canuse this water for drinking purposes.
8. To replace Cartridge within Unit, Follow these Simple Procedures:
   • Remove the housing from the base of the unit by placing the unit on a firm countertop. Grab hold of the purifier part of the unit and press down while turning the purifier in a counter clockwise direction.
   • Remove cartridge from the base. Install new cartridge with rubber gasket face down. Be sure to check your flow direction.
   • Replace housing onto base rotating it in a clockwise direction until snug. Check for leaks, but do not overtighten.
   • Repeat procedure in above
     
     NOTE: This unit is designed for Municipal treated water only. Do not use where the water is microbiologically unsafe, or the water is of unknown quality without adequate disinfection, before or after the water flow.
