 Glacier 2 Stage Industrial Water Purifier.
Glacier water purifiers differ from normal water filters in that it employs a 5 micron pre-sediment filter that removes particles as well a KDF/GAC purifying Cartridge further removing contaminants from all tap water.
What is KDF?
It is a high purity Zinc and Copper alloy that has been patented in the USA.It is known as today's precious metal when it comes to water purification, it has revolutionized the water treatment industry. It is a high purity zinc and copper alloy Media bed which has been tested to remove chlorine, heavy metals, lead, mercury and other hazardous chemicals which could be found in municipally treated water.It also controls the growth of algae, fungi and bacteria.

Water first flows through a 5 micron pre-sediment particle filter to remove dirt, rust and other sediment present in the water.

Then the water flows through a second KDF/GAC Cartridge which utilizes 1 pound of KDF-55 media, which contains an anti-microbial agent to prolong the life of the filter. It also Contains high performance granular active Coconut Shell Carbon.

Maintenance of System:

Filter Housings need to be opened once a year and washed out with Milton and hot water.

5 micron Pre-sediment filter should be replaced once a year. KDF/GAC Purifying cartridge which is in your second housing should be replaced after 35 000 L.
