Seven Stage Filtration System
1. Ceramic Dome :
Is made of highly compressed ceramic diatomic substances. It has a tiny porous structure of 0.2 micron, less than half the size of bacteria. Only with this filter you will get water free from rust, dust, silt and sediment. It will also remove Bacteria such as Cholera, Typhoid and coliform to name a few.
2. Mineral Stones :
The mineral stones are called Andesite and are mined deep beneath the ocean off the coast of South Korea. The mineral stones contain germanium, which is health giving and cancer preventing. Germanium does not contain heavy metals but absorbs heavy metals, toxic-ions, and impurities. They are rich in mineral supplements and have been widely used in health related products for centuries. Mineral stones also aid in the oxygenation of water and the adjustment of the pH to mild alkaline. These minerals are porous which slowly release minerals such as germanium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron to name a view.
3. Granular Active Carbon :
Carbon has a long history of being used to absorb impurities and is the most powerful absorbent known. One pound of carbon has a square area of 125 acres and can absorb thousands of different chemicals. This filters effectiveness is twice as long due to the other levels of filtration removing contaminants in one single cartridge.
4. Silica Sand :
Silica is a combination of oxygen and silicon, the two most prevalent elements on earth. Silica is the mineral building block that promotes healthy bone and connective tissue and helps prevent premature aging and cardiovascular and Alzheimer's diseases. Silica is growing in popularity as a beneficial mineral supplement to reduce the signs of aging. One of its unique characteristics is, It always keeps its own temperature keeping the water cool and fresh.
5. Zeolite :
Zeolite`s are natural volcanic material with a number of unique characteristics. Zeolite`s have an unusual crystalline structure and a unique ability to exchange cations, which are positively, charged ions. Thin substitutions of ions enables zeolite to exchange sodium ions for calcium ions which results in soft water. Zeolite also has a strong affinity for harmful heavy metal such as mercury, lead and chromium.
6. Magnetic Water Faucet : ( Only available with Home Unit.)
Treating water with magnetic fields restores the waters natural energy and balance. This makes water softer and taste better by a temporary separation of minerals and water molecules. To much minerals in water can slow down flow rate through tap, if to slow replace white magnetized nut with supplied yellow nut.
7. Ultra Violet Light Technology: ( Only available with U.V. Home Unit.)
Ultraviolet energy is produced by a low - pressure mercury lamp, which has a special glass formula to allow the passage of a light ray 1/100,000 inch long, which is expressed as 2537A (angstrom unit). Ultraviolet light rays have the unique property of killing microorganisms. They strike viruses, bacteria, mould, yeast or algae and break through out membrane to modify the genetic code of their DNA. The modified code brings about the destruction of the organism.
Maintenance Tips:
Ceramic Dome:
In order for the water to be purified it has to seep through. The Ceramic Dome. For the first few times of filling and seeping through, it could take between 3 and 4 hours. So to ensure that you always have water available for people to drink, it is recommended to fill-up top section during quiet times such as in the evenings or just before going home. This will ensure a full tank the following day.
When Ceramic dome turns yellow or brown do not get nervous! All it means, that the ceramic is doing what it is designed to do and that is to remove the Bacteria from the water. All you need to do is wash under running tap with Sponge Scourer.
Do not use soap, it could leave taste of soap in water. It is recommended to replace ceramic dome once every 12 months from your agent. The quality of water will determine the time of replacing your Ceramic Dome.
Active Carbon:
No maintenance on this item, it is also recommended to replace once every 12 months. Also note that the quality of the water used can shorten replacement time.
Mineral Stones:
Very low maintenance! it is recommended once every 6 to 8 weeks to remove the stones from tank, Boil in hot water and tablespoon of salt for 10 min, then place in sun to dry and put back into tank. Stones do not need to be replaced. If required additional stones can be purchased from your agent.
Trouble Shooting:
After having assembled your water filtration system and having placed it on-top of water dispenser, you must now check for leaks. Most common places for leaks to occur is the floater, check that washers are correctly in place and nut's not over tightened, only finger tight should be sufficient.
Light Sensitive:
Filtration units, specifically the filters are light sensitive. Due to the carbon filters removing all chlorine from the water, your water is now pure and free of preservatives. Bacteria live and grow when exposed to natural light or sun light. Filters will not last the recommended period and will need to be replaced sooner |
