Important Recommendations of Glacier Ceramic Filter Candles
INSTALLATION:
Please check if the candle is tightened properly to avoid leaking. A slight pressure is sufficient.
CLEANING:
Use only water for cleaning the ceramic candles. You can clean them using your hands or a very smooth brush.
DO NOT USE:
Soap, detergents,sugar, salt or any chemical products. This will damage the ceramic Candle. Clean the Ceramic Candle regularly.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Use only Glacier Ceramic Filter Candles, replacing them every 6 months.

Run water briefly in reverse through the filter candle to remove any possibleblockage.

Soak the filter candle in the kitchen sink for 30 minutes, this also assists in getting rid of any loose particles.

Scrub off the outer layer of the ceramic filter with a kitchen type scourer, scrubbing it in an up and down motion under running water.

Do not drink the first 5 liters of water. Rinse and start again.
PLEASE NOTE: As a general rule, water is purified at the rate of approximately one litre per hour.
