Bottled Water Toxins are bad for you

For some strange, unknown reason, several years ago, people got in their heads that bottled water was somehow much tastier and better for you. What began with a French company called Perrier grew into a multi-billion dollar industry. In fact, according to recent numbers, Americans spend more than 15 billion dollars a year on bottled water.

We are going to go out on a limb here and ask a simple question - why? Why are so many people spending so much money on a product they can nearly get free? Why are there are so many bottled water brands?

The last question is, of course, the easiest to answer. There are so many brands because bottled water is a profitable business. After all, it's just water. There is no innovation, no advanced designs, and really nothing that must be added to the heretofore successful equation.

But let's return for a moment to our first question - why is it so popular? To begin with, most bottled water drinkers claim that it tastes better. Believe it or not, most of them are loyal to only one brand. Apparently, they believe there is not only a difference between the taste of bottled water and tap water, but also between the brands themselves.

However, in taste test after taste test, bottled water drinkers have been consistently unable to identify their favorite labels. Not to mention the fact that they often cannot tell the difference between bottled water and regular old tap water.

That's right! Even inveterate bottled water drinkers cannot distinguish between the two.

But so what if it doesn't taste better? As most of us know, bottled water it is cleaner, safer, and healthier than tap, right?

Wrong! Several reputable tests have concluded that there is essentially no difference between tap water and bottled water. In fact, lab technicians and scientists in several studies were confident enough to state that tap water is every bit as good for you as bottled water. There is no difference!

The plain truth is that is you want cleaner, healthier, better-tasting water you have to ditch the bottles and buy a purifier. That right! Water purifiers are the only proven way to remove virtually all the harmful toxins from your drinking water.

By comparison, forty percent of all bottled water is nothing more than tap water with a few added, mostly unnecessary, minerals. But one major difference is that most of the bottled waters that do not originate at the tap are not chlorinated.

As you might expect, there's a reason they put chlorine in the drinking water - it kills harmful water-borne bacteria. Without chlorine, it is possible that those clean looking plastic bottles with pictures of snowcapped mountains on them might not be so pristine.

That is why water purifiers are the best choice. Not only are they safer and less expensive, but they also don't create unnecessary pollution. That's right - pollution! After all, where do you think all of those plastic bottles go? They have to be recycled. While recycling is preferable to making bottles from scratch, it still causes an awful lot of pollution.

You can do your part in reducing the impact that branded bottled water has on the environment. Consider investing in a water purifier that provides an excellent source of water and it stays in one place where it does not harm the environment - The perfect choice for the home or office environment.
