How to Install A Home Water Purifier
Some people put of installing a home water purifier because they think it might be a complicated job. Installing a home water purifier is actually quick and simple - many water purifiers can be set up within minutes.
There are various types of home water purifiers available in the market. Tap filters, for example, are simply screwed on over existing taps. Many people, however, opt for water purifiers that are installed underneath or above counter tops.
Here’s a quick step-by-step process to install a home water purifier:
- Take the water purifier out of the box and check that you have all the cartridges, tubes and utensils.
- Look underneath your sink for the shut off valve and make sure this is turned off while you are installing your new water purifier.
- Place the water purifier beneath the sink or above the counter (depending on the type of water purifier you have bought).
- Connect the tubes of your water purifier to the water beneath your sink.
- Take the line that is supposed to be connected to the tap and connect this line as per the unit’s instruction manual.
